Ultimate Caller ID

My UltimateTV (exactly like Tivo, but it's from Microsoft and only works with DirecTV) received a software upgrade this week that includes the coolest feature: on-screen caller ID.

That's right, when an incoming call rings and I'm watching TV, I don't even have to move to look at the caller ID, it shows up in a little box on the bottom of the screen. UltimateTV requires that you connect it to a phone-line so it can dial-in when you order pay-per-view movies (the tv guide comes from the satellite feed). That's how it reads the caller ID info.

This is a great feature, every set-top box should do this.

I really appreciate any advancement that can make me lazier.

BreakingBlogs

I just finished launching BreakingBlogs and I'm really tired.

Anyone who has ever created their own site knows the initial launch takes the most time and effort to complete. This site is the same, and now that it's up, I can work on chunks of it at a time, starting with the page design.

I have a list of ideas to add to the site, some of which are new to the blogging community and sites similar to mine.

More on that later, time for bed...

Update:
BreakingBlogs.com information and updates will be posted here:

Rummy Poetry

Donald Rumsfeld, our Secretary of Defense, is a poet and didn't even know it.

Portions of his off-the-cuff statements at Defense Briefings have been dug up and reprinted showing off the hidden poetic nature that is Donald Rumsfeld.

These are his exact words, not conjecture of what he might say.

From The Poetry of D.H. Rumsfeld, here's my favorite:

The Unknown
As we know,
There are known knowns.
There are things we know we know.
We also know
There are known unknowns.
That is to say
We know there are some things
We do not know.
But there are also unknown unknowns,
The ones we don't know
We don't know.
